■Overview of the work
A treehouse that serves as a multi-purpose room in unused space in the mansion's backyard.
The exterior walls are made of burnt cedar, which is waterproof, insect-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing.
On the porch, to enhance the local feel, soil collected from the area is used for the walls, and the skylights and handrails are made from the hollows and branches left over from pruning the host tree.
The interior has a maximum ceiling height of 2.7 meters, is based on white, and has large windows, creating a bright and open space. The floor, walls, and ceiling are filled with insulation, making it an air-conditioned room.
The tree is over 150 years old. Burnt cedar and red iron oxide have been used since ancient times.
The room is equipped with modern facilities such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Young leaves heading towards the future are like an ark.
